I use mine to buy petrol for my bike all the time.

Hi Chris, Whilst each card does have the registration number embossed on it, you can still use it to purchase fuel for any vehicle you like. The station in question doesn't purchase its bio-diesel from Topaz and as a result it can't be processed on the card.

Hi Adam, Thanks for your comment. This is cheaper and runs fine on my car and do not want to use a higher priced fuel with less lubrication just because it is acceptabe to the card.

The reason I stopped using the car was because I live near port laoise and although you have a station there that supports the card, I cannot buy bio-diesel on it. Each card holders receives a free SMS every Friday afternoon indicating what the price will be for the following week. This way you will always know when to buy and avoid any crazy price hikes! I think I have bought diesel at 118c this week when I could have got it at 111c locally!!

I have had the same problem. But that was not my point anyway. I was pointing out that the fuel price offered using the card is generally higher than the pump price from other petrol stations. If you reduced this you would increase your customer base and turnover. Just a suggestion anyway. All the best.

90% ??? Turns out that over 90% of the transactions on the card are actually below the pump price which shows that it's pretty competitive most of the time.
Hopefully the 20 Euro credit will make up for it.

Hi Peter, Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately reducing the price of the card wasn’t an option in our negotiations.<br

Certain cards had a period of free SMS alerts available when you signed up for the card. I imagine this period of free updates has expired and you may need to renew your SMS alerts. I will send your enquiry directly to our fuelcard administrator and she will address this for you.

Hi Geraldine,

Certain cards had a period of free SMS alerts available when you signed up for the card. I used to receive these weekly but have not received in quite a while even though I use my card every week. What is the reason for this.

My query is why I no longer receive the telephone texts from you indicating what the fuel prices will be for the following week.
