This year was a very special one for the Irish Classic & Vintage Show. Not only was it the show’s 20th anniversary but there was a record 1,286 cars on the field and organisers were hopeful that the 1,300 record would be hit.
This year the lead charity is St. Francis Hospice in Raheeny. St. Francis’s will receive two thirds of the day’s proceeds with a further one third going to The Children’s Sunshine Home (this charity will be featured as the lead at next years show).
The annual event has raised in excess of 2 Million euro for deserving charities and by the attendance I witnessed today the 2011 show is going to make a real difference to the folks at St. Francis’s.
There was a huge selection of makes on display. Veteran, Vintage and Classic Cars and Motorbikes as well as Kit and Custom Cars, Sports and Super Cars. Here are some pictures I took earlier. Feel free to drop us a comment below with your favourites.
