Fuelcard Benefits

Developed in conjunction with Topaz Energy, the Motorcheck Fuel Card will entitle the holder to a special price structure on all fuel costs. Available to Motorcheck customers for Petrol and Diesel, the card will guarantee a fixed and discounted price on your fuel at all Topaz Stations nationwide. This is a fixed price which ensures that wherever you use the card, this is the maximum amount that you can be charged.

Discounted Rate
The Motorcheck Fuel Card will entitle the Motorcheck Fuel Card holder to avail of a discounted price on Petrol and Diesel at all participating Topaz stations in the Republic of Ireland.

Monthly Direct Debit Payment
Because the card operates on a direct debit, your fuel charges are collected and processed in one transaction on a monthly basis.

This means that your fuel bill is easily recognized on your bank statement and there is no need for cash or credit cards at the petrol station.

Fixed Weekly Price
The discounted price is updated regularly to reflect the current market, which means that you have advanced knowledge of an increase or reduction to the price of fuel.

Guarantees a Cap on the maximum charge on fuel
No matter where the card is used, the maximum price that will be paid is fixed to the card. (i.e. If you happen to be driving in an area where fuel prices are particularly high but you need to fill up. Call into the nearest participating Topaz station and use your Motorcheck Fuel Card. This will guarantee that you are not charged more than the fixed discounted price for that week, regardless of the local stations pump price.

No Government Tax
Because the Motorcheck Fuel Card is not a credit card it does not attract any government tax.

E-Billing and 28 days Interest Free Credit
Motorcheck Fuel Card holders who sign up for e-billing will receive their invoices by email on a monthly basis. For those who do not have access to an email account, invoices can be posted weekly but direct debits are taken on a weekly basis rather than monthly.

Online Reporting
Cardholders who have access to the internet will be able to sign up for “Webfuels”, an online system that allows you to perform transaction queries and view previous invoices. Details such as how much fuel you bought, where you bought it and what price you paid can all be viewed at the touch of a button.
