I did a Motorcheck back in June 2011, it highlighted that the car had been clocked back by more than 30,000 miles…and the NCT that it claimed to have was a fake.

I saw a lovely 2007 BMW 320D advertised for €13,150. It had only 70,000 miles on it with a full BMW service history. Then I did what every buyer should do before they go to look at a car. I used motorcheck to check the history. Motorcheck revealed all! The car was last serviced in England in June 2011 at 142,000 miles.

It really does pay to Motorcheck the vehicle. You simply cannot trust a seller to tell you the whole truth.

I spotted an apparently-good-value Jaguar X Type estate in May 2011 at a local 2nd hand car dealer. Having viewed the car it was obvious that this was an import and I wanted to make sure the mileage was genuine.
