I spotted an apparently-good-value Jaguar X Type estate in May 2011 at a local 2nd hand car dealer. Having viewed the car it was obvious that this was an import and I wanted to make sure the mileage was genuine.

I performed a Motorcheck history check and within seconds knew that the odometer had ‘lost’ tens of thousands of miles! Needless to say, I didn’t purchase….
