Motoring Show Revs up on TV3

The Irish Motoring Show Xccelerate gets into gear for its third series and Motorcheck is delighted to be featured.
Xccelerate will be roaring onto Irish screens for its third season launching on Tuesday 8th March 2011 at 10.30pm on TV3. The only motoring programme on Irish television, Xccelerate is produced in Ireland, with Irish cars, Irish locations and Irish presenters – while keeping the Irish road user firmly in mind. With series one and two proving to be very popular with viewers in 2009 and 2010 the new line up for 2011 will continue to bring fresh and local flavour to motoring in Ireland.
Presented by highly respected Irish Times motoring journalist, Paddy Comyn, alongside well known TV3 sports broadcaster Kirsteen O’Sullivan and broadcaster Alan Ennis, Xccelerate will deal with all types of vehicles from the affordable and practical to the most desirable models to hit the Irish streets in 2011.
The new series will feature an action packed challenge with the Irish Naval Service, a look into the underworld of stolen cars in Ireland and a trip to Sweden for the MX5 ice race.
Bringing the fun back into motoring and making every day cars enjoyable to watch is what Xccelerate is all about.

Episode 1

Episode 1 kicks off in style with Paddy Comyn visiting the home of Aston Martin and Kirsteen taking a look at what the VW Passat has to offer as a family car. Alan puts the BMW X3 through its paces and Paddy feels he has drawn the short straw with the Hyundai IX20 - but you will have to wait to hear his final verdict.
Xccelerate airs Tuesday 8th March 2011 at 10.30pm on TV3.
